Danny Kurban

Hello and welcome to my website! With a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder and Master's degrees from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Leipzig University, I bring a strong foundation in economic theory, finance, econometrics, and quantitative modeling. Broadly speaking, my research analyzes how financing constraints and access to credit can shape international trade flows. You can read more about my research here.

As an associate at Analysis Group, an economic consulting firm, I designed and validated complex models to measure financial risk and quantify economic damages for Fortune 500 clients across finance, antitrust, data privacy, healthcare, and labor matters. During this time, I enjoyed working with datasets of over 30 million customer records and cases with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake.

I'm driven by intellectual curiosity and a commitment to analytical rigor, with a track record of translating complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
